On projenin kıyasıya yarıştığı yarışmamızda sadece üç proje mutlu sona ulaşarak ödüllerin sahibi oldu.

Nortel-Netaş’ a Teknik Gezi Düzenledik

Nortel –Netaş telekomünikasyon sektöründe dünyanın öncü firmalarından biridir. Nortel –Netaş ‘a yaptığımız bu gezinin amacı ses ve veri entegrasyon teknikleri, yeni nesil haberleşme yaklaşımları ve VOIP konularındaki çalışmaları yerinde izleme fırsatı bulmaktı.
Nortel –Netaş mühendislerinin yaptığı 1 saatlik sunumdan sonra firmanın AR-GE bölümünü gerzdik. Gezinin sonunda insan kaynakları birimine ilgilenen arkadaşlarımız özgeçmişlerini bıraktılar.

Katılım gösteren tüm arkadaşlarımıza teşekkür ederiz.

Technical Tour to Nortel–Netaş Telecommunication Firm

Nortel is one of the most enhanced firms in the world about voice and data integration and processing in the Telecommunication Sector. The aim of the tour was to get more information about data & voice integration and new generation communication approach VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). After 1 hour of presentation by Nortel–Netas engineer, we visited the Creation Center of Nortel. At the end of the technical tour, members of Dogus IEEE-SB gave their contact information and CVs to the human resource department of Nortel–Netaş.

PROJISTOR ‘07

‘The talents have come out’

Doğuş University IEEE Student Branch in the second year of its founding organized the second competition Projistor'07 has resulted. The competition took place Doğuş University in Acıbadem at May 18, 2007 with the supports of Doğuş University electronics and communications department, TUBITAK, BIDEB, IEEE and TEM.

The preparation for PROJISTOR started in November 2006 so as to bring the bachelor students who are studying on Electronics Engineering or in related departments from the universities in all around of Turkey together. The competition is important as it creates opportunities to students for being able to display their work and commentate on these works with professional academic and industrial people. In addition to that PROJISTOR is an opportunity to keep the universities and industrial companies interconnected.
The 6 finalist are shown as in below who displayed their projects in order to win the awards which are defined by the organization committee as 1500 YTL as first prize, 1000 YTL as second prize and 750 YTL as third prize.

At 14:00 o’clock after the preparation were completed by jury started the investigation of the competition has began. The competition which was open public has become enjoyable at the same time with the contribution of textile company Damat&Tween.

After the presentations of the projects, the competitors started to wait for the judgment of the jury. Prof. Dr. Mitat Uysal, Prof. Dr. Cem Göknar, Asso. Prof. Dr. Shahram Minaei and TEM Murahhas Azası Kenan İstanbullu as the jury, have come together to determine the first three projects. Following Doğuş University IEEE Student Branch President Yusuf DEMIR’s speech, the award ceremony started and the first three the project took their awards with certificates and gift packages from the jury members.

‘Searching for projects to vitalize our Projistor’

The PROJISTOR ’06 project competition which is organized by IEEE Student Branch and Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Doğuş University in order to exchange knowledge and experience among the bachelor students from all over the universities in Turkey and provoke them to produce has come to a conclusion. The competition took place in Acıbadem campus of Doğuş University on 27^th of May 2006 with the supports of Fujitsu-Siemens and Doğuş University.

The preparation for PROJISTOR started in November 2005 so as to bring the bachelor students who are studying on Electronics Engineering or in related departments from the universities in all around of Turkey together. The competition is important as it creates opportunities to students for being able to display their work and commentate on these works with professional academic and industrial people. In addition to that PROJISTOR is an opportunity to keep the universities and industrial companies interconnected.

10 competitors who have registered officially and obtain the participation right for the final have displayed their projects in order to win the awards which are defined by the organization committee as 1500 YTL as first prize, 1000 YTL as second prize and 750 YTL as third prize.
