 Nortel is one of the most enhanced firms in the world about voice and data integration and processing in the Telecommunication Sector. The aim of the tour was to get more information about data & voice integration and new generation communication approach VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). After 1 hour of presentation by Nortel–Netas engineer, we visited the Creation Center of Nortel. At the end of the technical tour, members of Dogus IEEE-SB gave their contact information and CVs to the human resource department of Nortel–Netaş.

İstanbul region meeting was organized Yeditepe University. Doğuş IEEE Student Branch was represented by İbrahim Can Kıran, Burak YILDIRIM, Cihan Kara and Eray Türker.

İstanbul Technical University organized İstanbul region meeting. Doğuş IEEE Student Branch was represented by Burak YILDIRIM and Abdülkadir ÖZDAMAR.

Our Student Branch was at WIN Fair which was Tüyap Fair center between 26 February - 1 March. We were in tenth hall in TURKIEEE stand.

Eastern Mediterranean University was organizing for the chairman congress of world's leading technical organisation IEEE's of Turkey branch. İbrahim Can KIRAN, Melis ATABEY, Ezgi BİLGİÇ and Burak YILDIRIM were represented our university.
