About Us
It is our pleasure to inform you that IEEE Student Branch of Dogus University has been establish in October 2005.
Our challenging duration of establishing IEEE Student Branch strarted at the beginning of the year 2003 with 7 IEEE student members. In 2 years duration,the number of IEEE Student members has been increasing by the helps of IEEE Fellow Prof. Cem GOKNAR.
Charter Members and Board of Directors of Branch
Now; our student branch has 45 members which includes Electronics and Communication Engineering(25 Members), Computer Engineering(15 Members), Information and System Engineering(5 Memebers), Industrial Engineering(4 Members) and International Trade and Business(1 Member) Students.
Our aim is to inform and help IEEE Student Branch members aout the future of technology and development of Information Technology Sector.
Activities that IEEE Student Branch of Dogus University have done last year:
- PROJISTOR technical project competition whcih has competitors from the üniversities all around turkey.
- Robotics workshops
- Technical courses on web-design, network, processing systems and programming.
- Technical workshops and tours
and is going to do following year:
- 4th PROJISTOR technical competition
- Robotics
- New technical courses on different subjects.
- GOLD (Graduated Of Last Decade ) meetings
- Social activities
